Valeria Tessere is the public face, when she permits such a thing, of the Veil Court. Once a celebrated actress, she now appears as a patron, organizer, judge of taste, and keeper of the traditions surrounding Venturia's masks and Masquerade.

She wears a different mask to every public appearance, and has seemed to do so for rather longer than her apparent years would allow.

Reputation

Valeria is charismatic, politically shrewd, and genuinely devoted to the city's mask-culture. She does not hold government recognition, and the Veil Court seems to prefer it that way. Influence is cleaner when no one can summon you to a vote.
