The Overlook is the high edge of Venturia where the streets end and Vallombrosa begins. From its cliff terraces, the fog line is not a rumor or a story. It is the view.

Character

The Overlook is quieter than the rest of the city. People lower their voices here without being told. Some come to stare into the fog, some to leave offerings, and some because they have nowhere else to take a question the city cannot answer.
